News

If you  have informed us that you require a place in our key worker provision, please can we ask that you only use this facility if you actually need it and during your working hours. We will ask you weekly to supply us with times for the following week.

All our school staff have been tested for Covid 5/1/21 at the Gryphon and have all proved negative. We will then be tested weekly. Please be aware that staff may be wearing face masks in school now.

ORGANISATION
School will open at 8.45am. Children will attend their own classes and be supported  by their own classteacher or teaching assistant so far as possible.

Please enter school in the normal way but through the TOP PLAYGROUND gate. Wait outside the classrooms and the teachers will let you in when they are ready.

If you need to use breakfast club, it will be open from 8am and will be charged as normal. You will need to book in the same way. We can only run this if we have the staff available. Please do book in advance as if we do not have any uptake on certain days, breakfast club will not run.

School will finish  at 3.20pm. Please collect as normal through the TOP playground.

We have a cap on the numbers in each bubble of 10 pupils. This is to ensure that children are seated far enough apart and the teacher can maintain distance.

UNIFORM

Children need to be in uniform and dress warmly.

LUNCH

Children in Key Stage 2 will need to bring a packed lunch. Children in receipt of free school meals will be provided vouchers  as soon as possible but will  need to bring a packed lunch.

Children in Key Stage one on Universal Infant Free School Meals are still eligible for the meal they have ordered and this will be supplied at school. Thornford can deliver this at the moment but may not be the case long term. Please check if you have ordered meals as I need to give Thornford names of children this afternoon.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN IN WITH ANY ILLNESS.

Many thanks
