Today we have been reflecting on the spirit of Christmas and its true meaning. Miss Grunnill talked about the nativity story in our opening worship and asked the children what God's wish might have been for Jesus when He sent him to Mary and Joseph. The children gave some very insightful answers around Jesus' teachings and how he helped those around him but also how he was sent to Earth to save people from their sins. The children then spent the day exploring the concepts through a variety of creative tasks and activities before sharing their reflections and learning in our closing worship. Our Christmas wishes then were placed on the tree and sent around the world.
