The range of learning experiences increases in line with the expectations of the National Curriculum and the growing intellect of the child, so we aim to develop and consolidate the essential skills of communication, English and maths and ensure opportunities for their application through a range of subjects.
These subjects include Science, Computing, Religious Education, Geography, History, Physical Education, Design Technology (DT), Music, Art, Drama, Modern Foreign Languages, PSHE & Citizenship and Sex & Relationship Education. In addition, the curriculum promotes the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of our children and prepares them for the demands and opportunities of life.
Personal organisational skills are important in today’s world and, as the children progress, we lay great emphasis on their taking responsibility for punctuality, possessions, hygiene and appearance.
